Love Explores Blocleaf Cafe

Hi Loves! Did you know that one of my most favorite things in the world is coffee?

Yes, I drink coffee when I’m sad, happy, stressed, and excited. I really thank God for coffee. It’s the best creation ever! For me, good coffee is a reminder of good old days. It’s really my dream to put up my own cafe in the future.

So we recently came across this coffee shop called Blocleaf Cafe. Blocleaf is a neighborhood cafe located in Malate. The place is small— only 20-25 sqm. It’s quite hidden as well. I’ve never heard of this coffee shop before. I just learned about this place while Google-searching for the nearest cafe where we can eat our breakfast that day.

If you’ll ask me about the food,  I can say that the cakes and drinks are quite good. I ordered their ube cheesecake and latte while my friend opted for chocnut cake and black lemonade. The ube cheesecake is not so sweet (which I like). I’m also not a fan of chocolate cakes but I tried their chocnut cake and it’s better than the ube cheesecake.

The latte is my favorite. It’s creamy. Not too strong. But since I like my coffee sweet, I just put 1 sachet of brown sugar and it’s good to go.

What I like more about Blocleaf is its minimalist design. Since it’s tiny and hidden, this cafe is perfect for afternoon talks with your friends or days when you want to be alone and read some books. If you love Instragram (ahem), this is also the perfect place for you to photoshoot!

From 1 to 10 hearts (1 being the lowest and 10 the highest), Blocleaf Cafe is ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. I’ll definitely go back soon!
